OILY FISH GASTRONOMIC CAMPAIGN

From May 18th to June 17th, 2018

Innovation, tradition, excellence

Josep Roca, from El Celler de Can Roca supports our campaign. It is an honour to be backed by the excellence of the best restaurant of the world for the oily fish cuisine, an honest cuisine that comes from the combination of tradition and innovation by our restaurants.

It means recognition for those who take a chance on this modest product, rooted in our region. It is part of our tradition and our cookers have brought it to the best kitchens of the world. It was not easy at the beginning, more that a quarter of a century ago, because the oily fish was not considered to be appropriate for the good restaurants. In contrast to the present, its nutritional benefits were not recognised neither.    

The oily fish has reached the place that deserves thanks to our restaurants, to our fishermen who guarantee the quality of the product every morning and to our supporters, like the Roca brothers or the Torres brothers in previous editions. 

 Those who will taste this oily fish cuisine these days will be witnesses of its success.
