Catalan Penicillin Exhibition

*The Catalan Penicillin: 75 years of the penicillin production in Barcelona. At the Old Hospital. On the first floor – At the room of the country doctor and health. Until. It is an exhibition that emphasize an important fact, which is little known: 75 years ago, a group of Catalan scientists, with a devastated country, was able to produce penicillin that was stable enough to be used. This fact means that Catalonia was the first country of Europe that achieves it.

From March 13th to June 27th.

Saturdays from 11am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8pm.

Sundays and holidays from 11am to 2pm.

-Easter (April from 1st to 5th): Thursday April 1st from 5 to 8pm.

Coastal Paths Exhibition

*Camins de Ronda (coastal paths) Exhibition. At the Old Hospital. The Chapel. Until September 5th. Coastal paths recreates and emphasizes the landscape diversity of the paths that go along the Catalan coast from a plan designed by Rafael López-Monné (Tarragona, 1964), geographer and photographer. After being exhibited at the Sea Museum of Barcelona, the exhibition is on display at the museums of the network of Sea Museums of the Catalan Coast. The exhibition highlights the local features of these paths and gives a value to the nearest coast.
