Brunyol Market ( about sweet fritters)

*Brunyol Market (about sweet fritters) from 11am to 8pm in the Monastery square. Sale of brunyols from the bakeries and cake shops of the town. Tasting of 4 brunyols + ratafia or Bonet liquor shot for 3 €. There will be workshops for children, activities for all the family, concerts, food trucks etc.

ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

On Friday April 19th

Music and tales:

In the Abadia square (behind the Monastery).

-Songs around the world to sing all the family together Cançons de tots colors, at 12.30pm in the Abadia square.

-Family show – clown style Conta contes by Eudald Casals, at 5pm in the Abadia square.

-Concert by Merkado Negro, flamenco-fusion in the Empordà zone with versions of Serrat, Niña Pastori, Kiko Veneno, Sabina ... At 8pm at the Abadia square.

Children’s corner:

Face painting, make your own kite, make your clown outfit. From 11am to 2pm and from 5pm ti 8pm in the Monastery Gardens. Free activity.

Craft demonstrations:

All day in the Monastery square.

Shoemaker: The master shoemaker will show you the entire shoe making process.

Ceramist: The craftsman will produce pottery in the potter's wheel, using he traditional technique.

Woodcutter: You will see how kitchen wood tools are produced by hand: spoons, spatulas, forks...

Other activities:

From 11am to 2pm and from 4pm to 7pm

-Woodcutter Workshop by Ferran Peralta (3€). Learn how to cut wood and produce a knife or a key ring.

From 11am to 1pm and from 5pm to 7pm

-Bread figures workshop (free activity). Learn how to produce, knead and shape bread. We bake it and... It’s ready to eat.

 

On Saturday April 20th

Music and tales:

In the Abadia square (behind the Monastery).

-Family show – clown style Conta contes by Eudald Casals, at 12.30pm in the Abadia square.

-Songs around the world to sing all the family together Cançons de tots colors, at 5pm in the Abadia square.

-Concert by Buena Onda, a show full of emotions. Songs of all times that are going to be played with a box drum, a guitar and two voices. At 8pm in the Abadia square.

We are going to bake sweet fritters, share recipes and take them home, if you want. Registration price: 15€.
