FESTA MAJOR 2026 – EVENT PROGRAM

FRIDAY JULY 24^TH 

8.45pm · La Cuca de Llum – Evening hike for the little ones
Organized by: Centre Excursionista Montclar

📍 Starting point: Passeig Rius i Calvet

💶 Price: 3 € (CEM members) / 5 € (everyone else)

Family walk of 3 km designed for children (must be accompanied by an adult).

It is necessary to wear suitable footwear, bring water, and a headlamp or flashlight

10.15 pm · Sardana dance by La Principal del Llobregat band
Organized by: Agrupació d’Amics de la Sardana

11pm · La Nocturna – Popular evening walk
Organized by: Centre Excursionista Montclar

8 km walk for adults through the natural surroundings of the municipality.

7pm · Festa Major Warm Up
Organized by: Solea Power Pilates & BdeBrava
📍 Jardins Juli Garreta

💶 Price: 15 € (includes Pilates, Social Run, drink and snacks)

The day will begin with a reception for participants and will continue with a Pilates session. Afterwards, participants will be able to join the Social Run, a non-competitive race open to all levels that invites them to enjoy the physical activity and the environment.

Organised by: Vilartagues, Tueda de Dalt and Poble Nou Neighbourhood Association.

Activity to start Festa Major in which there will be, first of all, music by Manel Titos Music at 7.30p pm and later, at 10 pm, the rumba group D’Calle. There will be a bar where Coca pastry, cava, drinks and sandwiches.

📍 Route: Passeig dels Guíxols, Dr. Zamenhoff, Sant Ramón, Rambla Portalet, Algavira, Placeta Maragall, de la Rutlla, la Rambla and Passeig del Mar.
🎭 Before the opening speech: festive parade dances with hobby horses, big-heads, small giants and giants

After the opening speech, the procession will continue until the Monastery Square.

A competition to stack the maximum number of crates vertically without them topping over, aiming to ring a bell at the top of the structure while the participant climbs, harnessed to an 8-meter-high framework.
