*D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL. Culture, gastronomy and local shopping This September, Juli Garreta Gardens will be full of shops and local restaurant services enlivened by different activities and workshops for young and old people, musical, dance and ganxona culture actuations. A festival to enjoy the shops, gastronomy and culture of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

-Artistic books: artistic installation and book delivering on different spaces of Juli Garreta Gardens. Available for everybody who want to take them.

-Share your best memory lived on our city.

Friday September 20.  – D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL. On Juli Garreta Gardens.

Opening hours: from 6pm to 2am

-WORKSHOP ‘SEA OF BOOKS’. From 6pm to 8 pm at the Workshop Space. In this edition, the main material will be books, which we will recycle to create new works of art. We will create fish with a mesh structure and we will cover them with book pages, creating a literary sea full of ‘mesh’ fish. In addition, we will make costumes out of book pages to create unique characters that each participant will be able to wear. Free of charge. By Cocu Arts (Cultural Association).

-COOKING WORKSHOP ‘ELS LLEGUMS EN ALIMENTACIÓ SOSTENIBLE’. From 18.30pm to 20.30pm at Workshop Space. Workshop on traditional preparations with vegetables, other preparations adapted to modern cuisine, dishes from other gastronomic traditions and other presentations of vegetables. Free of charge. Run by La Manduca (ecological consumer cooperative).

-JAM SESSIONS. From 7pm to 8.30pm at the Jam Space. We will start the school course with a “Jam Session” with the music band of the teachers of the EMMú Guíxols Vall d’Aro. A unic opportunity to enjoy live music and to participate with your instrument or your voice with a band of luxury musicians. Saxophone, piano, electric guitar, bass guitar and drum set. Exhibition in charge of EMMú Guíxols Vall d’Aro teachers

-GUÍXOLS CATWALK. From 9pm to 10pm on the Main Stage. Fashion catwalk in charge of the different shops of the city. Free.

-“CHANCLAMOUTH” CONCERT. From 10.30pm to 12am on the Main Stage. Crazy band which shakes the stages with skiffle, country, folk, rock’n’roll and punk versions. Free.

-DJ SPYRO BORNE. From 12.30am to 2am on the Main Stage. DJ Session, which will lead you to the best moments of the dance floor, combining classical and a temporal music with modern hits (disco, rock, pop, EDM). Free.

Saturday September 21st – D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL. On Juli Garreta Gardens.

Opening hours: from 12pm to 2am

-GUIDED VISIT URBAN ITINERARY. From 11.30am to 1pm. Meeting point: Ancient Hospital. Itinerary to discover the patrimonial interesting points more important of Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The itinerary will be from the medieval to the modern Sant Feliu: the visit starts on the interior of the Ancient Hospital, then through the Monastery and the Market Square. After that, we will pass through the Promenade, arriving to Rafael Patxot’s House and to the Nou Casino La Constància, a modernist Building with oriental inspiration known as “Casino dels Nois”. Price: 4€ general entrance / 2€ Friends of the Museum (Limited places). Activity in charge of the History Museum of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

- MINI RECITAL WITH DANCE. From 12pm to 1pm on the Main Stage. Mini recitals with dance. When the Piano, the voice and the contemporary dance assemble.

-DRAWING WORKSHOP. From 12pm to 1pm on the Workshop Stage. Come and paint the draw which you like the most, you will be able to choose between several topics. Free. Workshop in charge of Jordi Grabolosa from Espai D’Art.

-PAINT THE MURAL. From 12pm to 3pm on the Jam Space. Come and participate on the collaborative mural in 360 format with the illustrations of Gerard Valverde (Musclu) inspired by the environment of d’Aquí Festival. For all the ages. Free. Mural in charge of Gerard Valverde (Musclu).

- SABRINA BANFI. From 1.30pm to 2.30pm on the Main Stage. Trio of versions of bossa nova, boleros, soul, blues, disco and rock. Free.

-UHQUEXUNGU. From 4pm to 5pm on the Jam Space. Exhibition of the Winner of the “Concurs de bandes emergents de les comarques gironines” Championship, celebrated on August 31st 2024. This proposal arrives with the intention to be an opportunity for young musicians. Free. Exhibition in charge of the carnival group Uhquexungu.

- ELABORATION OF MAGNETS AND CAPS. From 4.30pm to 6.30pm on the Workshop Stage. Workshop of magnets and caps in charge of “La Xarxa Guíxols”, child theatre association. We will inform you about the following theatre plays and we will do a riffle of 2 tickets between all the participants. Free. Workshop in charge of la Xarxa (Fundació Xarxa d’Espectacle Infantil i Juvenil de Catalunya).

-WORKSHOP ‘EL FAR GANXÓ’. From 5pm to 6pm at the Workshop Space. Fun and creative craft workshop, for children from 3 to 12 years old. Organised by the Lector Space Nobel bookshop.

-STORYTELLING FOR DIVERSITY ‘LIU’. From 5pm to 6.30pm at the Jam Space. Liu likes to swim with his head out of the water, to play with his kitchen toy and his space toy. From time to time, grown-ups ask him questions, such as where he is from and whether he is a boy or a girl, and they are left speechless by his answers. Liu does not know if he will ever get along with the grown-ups. Free of charge. Activity run by the Servei d'Atenció Integral LGTBI+ of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

-AUTOMATION WORKSHOP. From 6pm to 8pm at Workshop Space. Learn how to do your make-up like a professional in our self-make-up workshop. We will teach you how to create an incredible look, step by step. You will learn the application techniques and discover how to bring out the best in you. Carry your briefcase/bag with all the products you have and tweezers, mirror, your cream and make-up remover, so you can put it into practice. Free. Workshop by Susana Puigsegur.

-SOMOS LAVANDA MUSIC. From 7pm to 8pm at the Jam Space. Enjoy a special Kirtan with the music band ¡Somos Lavanda! Kirtan is a spiritual practice of mantra chanting, originally from India, which is part of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion. We will sing and recite mantra in a group. No previous experience is necessary, just the desire to participate and enjoy the music and the community. You can bring your own storeroom and let yourself be carried away by the magic of the mantra. We are waiting for you! Free

-GLOW IN THE DARK. From 7pm to 9pm at the Workshop Space. Come to the face-painting workshop with fluorescent make-up and glow in the dark. Workshop for children and young people. Free. Workshop by Kids&Us.

-THE HACKERS. From 9pm to 10.30pm at the Main Stage. The Hackers is a rock cover band that revisits some of the best hits of the last 50 years. They perform a varied and forceful repertoire that recalls established musicians such as The Beatles, Metallica, Bon Jovi and Depeche Mode, among many others. Free

-SOTRAC. From 11pm to 12am at the Main Stage. Sotrac is a band formed by three young artists with different professional careers and musical tastes, who share the same philosophy and desire for change. Sotrac's music is a mix of pop and rock. Free

-DJ FELIX. From 0.30am to 02am. On the main stage. Live DJ session that will make you feel the essence of music with selected tracks of funk, Soul, R&B and Groove House. Free.

Sunday September 22nd – D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL. On the Juli Garreta Gardens.

Opening hours: from 12pm to 1am

-IOGA DIRECTED ACTIVITY. From 12pm to 1pm at the Main Stage. Enjoy a very special yoga class with Carla and Clàudia from the Somos Yoga Twins School. This yoga class is perfect for everyone, whether you are a beginner or experienced. Bring a mat, comfortable clothes and a great desire to relax and enjoy yourself. Do not miss it, come and practice yoga with us! Free Class by Somos Yoga Twins

-CHILDREN'S HANDICRAFTS WORKSHOP. From 12pm to 1pm at the Workshop Space. Make your own dream catcher or your own door hanger and take them home. Price: dream catcher 4€ / Door hanger 3€ (Price per person). Workshop in charge of the Association de veïns de Vilartagues for children from 5 years old.

-CIRCUS WORKSHOP.  From 12pm to 3pm at the Jam Space. Come and enjoy the circus with a trapeze, an acrobatic line and some juggling elements (diabolos, pylons, Chinese plates) and a balance ball. Price: Free. Workshop by Marcel Aguilar.

-THE DIRTY REELERS. From 1.30pm to 3pm at the Main Stage. The love of Irish music will unite the paths of these friends from Sant Feliu de Guíxols. With a repertoire of traditional Irish songs: jigs and reels, shanties (vocal tunes), ballads, and some seafaring songs from the old England... Influenced by pub bands like the Dubliners, Clancy Brothers, Paddy Reilly or the Irish Rovers, or classic folk bands like the Chieftains, Tannahill Weavers or Lúnasa, and other folk-rock bands like The Pogues, Planxty or Horslips. Free

-UHQUEXUNGU. From: 4pm to 5pm at the Jam Space. Performance by the second or first local winner of the ‘Concurs de bandes emergents de les comarques gironines’ held on 31 August 2024. The proposal aims to be an opportunity for young musicians. Free. Performance by the Uhquexungu carnival group.

- FOOTBALL CAPS.  From 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Workshop Space. Come and learn how to play football caps by playing a series of games between two players and we will teach you the different types of shots to score goals. Mini games of 5 minutes will be played and fouls and penalties will be called, with the help of the club's federated players. Free. Workshop given by the Association de Football Xapes of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

- WORKSHOP OF NAVAL KNOTS. From 5pm to 7pm at the Workshop Space. Learn how to make naval knots with the whole family. This workshop is for children, young people and adults. Free. Workshop given by the Llops de Mar Association.

-STORYTELLING WITH MUSIC. From 6pm to 7.30pm at the Jam Space. Workshop of stories and tales accompanied by guitar, for young and old people. Free. In charge of the Espai Colibrí Cultural Centre.

-MISTREET DANCE STUDIO. From 8 pm to 8.30 pm at the Main Stage. Urban dance performance. Free.

-MARCO DEITA. From 9pm to 10.30pm at the Main Stage. Concert in a commercial rumba style adapted to the public of the moment. Free.

-DJ MOI from 11pm to 1am on the Main Stage. Music session with DJ MOI. Free.
