Day hike to Tamariu

*Day hike to Tamariu, Aigua Xelida, Aiguablava. Departure at  8.30am for the bus station. Arrival at 5pm. You must bring: food, water, trainers, raincoat, swimsuit and towel. Itinerary: Tamariu, Aigua Xelida, Ses Falugues, Aiguablava, Mas Batlliu, Tamariu. Distance: 12 km. Slope: 500 m. Donation: 10€. You must confirm your participation before January 21st. Photography course

*Photography Course. Basic on-site course, led by Jordi Gallego. Wednesdays from 8 to 10pm at the Casal Tueda. It includes 24h theory (12 days) + 8h practice (2 outings: a Sunday morning and a Friday evening). Course length: 3 months. Start on January 28th. Price: 100€ (the whole course) or 35€/month; 50€ for the members of the Agrupació Fotogràfica de Sant Feliu de Guíxols or the Casal Tueda members. Fun day families

*Fun day with the family. Presentation event of the Associació Takafol. From 5 to 7pm at the Guixols Arena marquee. There will be bouncing castles, crafts, face painting, contests, henna and coffee service. Limited tickets. Make your registration at asociaciontakafol@gmail.com or at Smart Copy Shop in 56 Almería street (Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 to 8pm).

*Exhibition Jaume Pla. From January 27th to March 29th. Inauguration: Saturday January 31st at 6pm. At Ariel de Boni Art Gallery, 36 Major st.

Route to Ardenya

*Route “Around Puig de Portugal” + visit to the Nativity scenes at Solius Monastery. At 8.30am. Hike to discover interesting spots near Puig de Portugal in Solius. Route of 7.5 km aprox., through rocks, Auladell's peak and mine, Portugal and Viader peaks. Marc Auladell will be in charge of the explanations, as he is a great expert on Solius. Breakfast during the hike. It is recommended to use walking sticks (some parts are a bit difficult, but not dangerous). Starting at the Solius Monastery; at 12pm Visit to the Nativity scenes at Solius Monastery. Brother Albert Fontanet will be in charge of the explanations, as he is a great expert on Solius. Snacks will be offered at the end. Participants must be used to walk through the mountains and have an insurance. Registration in advance: info@ardenya.cat. Organised by: Ardenya Patrimoni i Natura.
