Storytime

*Storytime: Different, so what! Storytelling time dedicated to diversity. The characters find themselves in complicated situations but with some help and imagination they end up finding a possible solution. These are tales to reflect and think about the fact of being or feeling different. By Gra de Sorra.  At 4.45pm at Parc de la Llibertat, Corunya street. Organized by the Octavi Viader i Margarit Public Library. From 3 years old and up.

Talk "Smart nutrition"

*Talk: Smart nutrition for training, competing and recovering. At 7pm at the port’s Tinglado building. Free access. By Soulfit 2.0, palate reeducation center. For more information tel. 972 321700. Organized by: Club Nàutic.

Flower Exhibition

*73rd Competition - Flower Exhibition at the Monastery. Opening hours: Saturday from 5pm to 9pm.

Sunday from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 7pm. At 6pm awards ceremony.

Throughout the weekend, the Monastery will become a large exhibition space with different decorated spaces: Espai Àgora, 1st floor of the History Museum, Porta Ferrada space, defense towers and Hort del Rector. It also includes an exhibition of Reciclart models, made by 4th  grade primary school students.

Other activities:

-Flower carpets: Visits from Saturday at 1pm to Sunday at 1pm. Making of the traditional flower carpets from Friday afternoon, designed by 4th grade primary school students. On Jacint Verdaguer st., Rutlla st., Joan Maragall Square, Sant Antoni and Hospital Streets.

Organized by: the Associació de Festes Ganxones with the collaboration of the Els Grillats and Els Golfo’s Carnival Groups, Cafeteria l’Arc, Cor de Maria- Sant Josep community service, Institut Sant Feliu (SIEI) and Associació Altres Capacitats.

-Family floral printing workshop: Saturday from 5 to 7 pm at Monestir square. Creative printing activity on tote bags. Hosted by COCU Cultural Association.

-Morning outing to learn about plants around Sant Feliu de Guíxols: Sunday at 10 am at the Paratge de Sta Escolàstica, at the entrance from the Pedralta road. Discover the plants around Sant Feliu de Guíxols. Hosted by Mònica López, member of the Sterna nature group. It is recommended to bring breakfast and comfortable shoes. -Decorating with artificial and natural floral art. The Vilartagues, Tueda de Dalt and Poble Nou Neighborhood Association will decorate different places in the Vilartagues neighborhood, inspired by “Life and Nature, human and animal” combining natural and artificial flowers.

Lagut championship

*Catalan Llagut Championship. From 8am to 5pm at Sant Feliu beach.

There will be bar service for breakfast, lunch and provisioning on the Rius i Calvet seaside promenade. Hosted by the Uuhquexungu Carnival Group Association.
