Sustainable Mobility Week 2017 and 7th Environment & Sustainability Fair

*Activities included in the Sustainable Mobility Week and the 7th Environment and Sustainability Fair (from 20th to 30th September):

• Wednesday 20th September

-Conference by Fundació Mar about the natural resources of Sant Feliu de Guíxols seabed: Silmar project and the sea safekeeping agreement of the marine areas for the bio-knowledge of Sant Feliu de Guíxols. At 7pm at the Local Library.

• Friday 22nd September

-Free school & local bus

-Conference by Eloi Cordomí, TV3 meteorologist. Sustainable tourism, energy savings and environment. At 7pm at the local Library.

• Sunday 24th September

-7th Environment and Sustainability Fair. Sunday 24th September from 9am to 3pm around the Rambla Vidal..

You will find different stalls related to the sustainable mobility (electric vehicles, liquified petrol gas vehicles, cars, motorbikes, bicycles, public transport etc...), to the energy savings at home and companies (solar panels, biomass...) and companies that work in the sustainable tourism field.

-The users of the local public transport will be given a plant. In collaboration with the Red Cross.

• From Monday 25th to Friday 29th

-10 T10 card will be raffled among the users of the local bus (Cards with 10 free trips)

• Saturday 30th September

-Hiking through the natural environment of Sant Feliu de Guíxols by Centre Excursionista Montclar. Starting at 10am in the Passeig del Mar in front of the Town Hall and ending at 12pm in the same place. In collaboration with Red Cross. There will be breakfast and gifts for the participants.

-Cycling through the streets and surroundings of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, by Associació Ataràxia. Starting at 10am in the Passeig del Mar in front of the Town Hall and ending at 12pm in the same place. In collaboration with Red Cross. There will be breakfast and gifts for the participants.

-Grup de Natura Sterna: Invasive species

-SomEnergia: Marketing of green energy

-Institut de Ciències del Mar: How the climate change affects the Mediterranean seabed species.
