5. Green Ways and road bikes
Also known as carril bici (cycle track), the Greenway connects our town with the inland plains up to Girona and Olot. At present, it has achieved a great importance for tourists because of the restoration of Sant Feliu old railway. Sant Feliu de Guíxols Greenway is the starting point and the end of the old “Carrilet” that ran from Olot to our town. It’s ideal for cycling or hiking.
You can go for a walk or take part in races like the Trailwalker.

In 2015, Sant Feliu de Guixols has been certified by the Catalan Tourism Agency as a specialised Road Cycling tourism destination, a fact that ensures services tailored to the needs of groups of cyclists who want to enjoy this sport in group.
Some of the advantages enjoyed by these groups are to find accommodations that provide parking for bikes, adapted spaces to clean the bikes or to repair them, also specific menus for athletes, flexible hours for their meals, among many other services.
